From October 21st-22nd, the 2017 Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival returns for all the art lovers of Hermosa Beach. Featuring a wide array of art exhibitions, this year’s festival is a great way to learn more about the local art scene.
This year’s Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival will feature 100 booths of art, a student art exhibition, and DJ music. Refreshments will be available from a variety of attending food trucks. Additionally, the festival will include family friendly activities such as face painting and plenty of art activities for the kids.
The festival accepts artist applications and will feature local Hermosa Beach artists. Additionally, much of their original work available for purchase. This year’s featured artist is Laura Schuller, an abstract, mixed-media artist.
The Hermosa Arts Group, a non-profit organization that promotes art education and fine arts within the Hermosa Beach community, hosts the Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival. The festival is the organization’s premier fundraising event. All funds will go towards scholarships and donations to the art departments of local Hermosa schools.
The festival will be held on the vast lawns of the Hermosa Beach Community Center. You can find the Community Center on the corner of Pier Avenue and the Pacific Coast Highway.
