Living in the Hermosa Beach area allow you to not only enjoy the beauty of the area every day, but also to enjoy all the fun and exciting events that regularly go on in the area. Make sure to mark your calendar for one of the most looked forward to events in the local community, Fiesta Hermosa.
The three day long festival starts on August 30th and goes until September 1st. Each day, all of the fun starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 6 p.m. Each year, people flock to the event to enjoy all it has to offer. What may be known as an art fair, has quickly turned into one of the most exciting events in the area.
There are two stages at the event to keep the crowed entertained all day. The music is always the highest caliber, with the main stage always featuring some of the best “tribute bands” around, performing the music of classic rock bands like the Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin. The second stage that is located in the Charity Beer & Wine Garden features country, blues, rock n’ roll, and zydeco music for the crowd to enjoy.
One of the biggest attractions to the Fiesta Hermosa is the delicious food. With 18 different kinds of ethnic food that is offered at the event, everyone is sure to find a new favorite dish. There is almost every kind of food you can imagine at the Fiesta Hermosa, from Greek, Thai, Barbecued sausages, to the famous Hermosa Beach Lifeguard’s fish tacos.
Do not forget to bring the kids so that they can enjoy the Kiddie Carnival, which features a 30 foot slide, rock climbing, mechanical rides, and a bungee jump that are all perfect for children ages 3 to 10. There are also face painters, pony rides, and a petting zoo for the kids to enjoy.
