Thanksgiving Pumpkin Bread Recipe for Your Holiday Table

Check out this Thanksgiving pumpkin bread recipe.

Thanksgiving is almost here! As you get ready to sit around the table with loved ones for a delicious meal, don’t forget the dessert. While pumpkin pie is a holiday staple, so is pumpkin bread. Whip up a loaf with this Thanksgiving pumpkin bread recipe for your holiday festivities. Here’s what you’ll need to get started.

16-ounce canned pumpkin

1 cup vegetable oil

3 large eggs

3 cups sugar

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground cloves

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and preparing a loaf pan. Next, start on the batter. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, oil, eggs, and pumpkin and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Combine the flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Ensure that they’re thoroughly mixed and then fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly until you have a nice consistent batter. For a little added crunch, add in your favorite nuts. Pour the batter into the baking pans and bake for about an hour.

Take the loaves out of the oven to let them cool, and then enjoy with friends and family.
