Support local artists and schools at 2018’s Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival.
On October 20th-21st, the annual Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival will make its return! As usual, the festival will be held on the sprawling lawns of the community center in Hermosa Beach. You can find the community center on the corner of Pier Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway, mere blocks from the Pacific Ocean (click here for a map view).
This year’s festival will feature 100 booths of local artists and their works, many available for sale to the public. In addition to celebrating Hermosa Beach’s local art scene, the Fine Arts Festival also looks to offer fun activities that the whole family to enjoy. For instance, this year’s event will also feature a student art exhibition, face painting, children’s art activities, a live DJ, and a selection of food trucks.
As always, the Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival is hosted by the Hermosa Beach Arts Group, a non-profit organization that looks to promote art education and support the local art scene. Proceeds from every Fine Arts Festival are donated to local K-12 arts education programs as well as scholarships to local high school students.
